Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 600 g (21 oz) minced meat
  • 1 egg
  • 4 g (0.1 oz) salt
  • 4 g (0.1 oz) black pepper
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) cheese, shredded
  • 20 g (0.7 oz) parsley, chopped

For Coating:

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3 g (0.1 oz) salt
  • 200 g (7.1 oz) all-purpose flour
  • 300 g (11 oz) panko bread crumbs

For Frying:

  • Vegetable oil, as needed

Instructions

Prepare the Meat Mixture

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine minced meat, 1 egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Add finely chopped onions, red bell pepper, shredded cheese, and parsley. Mix until thoroughly combined.

Form the Patties

  • Take a handful of the mixture and shape it into a patty about the size of your palm.
  • Repeat with the remaining mixture, ensuring all patties are equal in size.

Prepare the Coating

  • Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs mixed with salt, and one with panko bread crumbs.
  • Coat each patty lightly with flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally roll in breadcrumbs. Ensure an even coating.

Fry the Patties

  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Make sure the oil covers the bottom evenly.
  • Fry the patties in batches, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Place the fried patties on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
